In it's first year, the R.O.G.U.E. brought together 67 longboarders of all ages to race 20km through Edmonton's scenic river valley. It was a huge success and everyone involved had a fantastic time. This year we expect the race to be even bigger and will be an event that you will not want to miss. The race will be taking place starting at Hermitage park on August 23th at 9:00 am (registration closes at 8:30 am). It is open to all skill levels so come out and push your heart out!!!!
R.O.G.U.E. stands for Ribbon of Green Ultimate Endurance. The Ribbon of Green is the name that the city of Edmonton has given the extensive trail system that weaves through the cities beautiful ravines and river valley park areas.
